The annual Desert Daze Festival is a community-based initiative designed to celebrate the unique culture, heritage and arts in rural B.C. The event enhances area economics by attracting tourists and area residents to visit Spences Bridge for the weekend. This two-day fun-filled family event hosts a wide variety of activities for all ages to celebrate 'community'. Aside from the fantastic music, another focus for both Friday and Saturday is to engage participants with a variety of workshops in music, local farming, yoga, canning, crafts and Indigenous art. The musical line-up represents emerging local and regional talent and styles vary from country, blues, folk, pop, rock and roll to everything in between.
