Meet Jens Kugelstadt
Jens Kugelstadt knows he’s living the good life in Northern British Columbia. He’s called Canada home for a just over a couple of decades now, with his early years spent near Quesnel. Before that Jens emigrated from Germany, wanting to tap into the solitude and serenity of a rural Canadian lifestyle.
In 2004 Jens relocated to Big Lake Ranch near Williams Lake with plans to settle for good. The Cariboo region captured his heart with its beauty and endless supply of outdoor activities- there’s no shortage of fresh air and adventures. Jens particularly likes to fish, canoe, camp and ski with his family, all of which are easily sourced around Williams Lake. According to Jens, the community of Big Lake has more than ample amenities for its size, while still maintaining a close-knit atmosphere.
Woodworking has always been a passion and innate talent for Jens, who channeled his gift into a blossoming enterprise. With opportunities abounding in the Cariboo, developing skills and growing a business has been a satisfying process, and one that this entrepreneur takes pride in. Jens prioritizes quality work above all else, and thoroughly enjoys the result of happy customers upon project completion. “I take pride in my work,” states Jens. “I enjoy the creativity that comes with it.”
