Meet Chris Reese

Chris Reese, owner of Hands on Wellness, relocated to Williams Lake from the Okanagan in 2011 and has been serving the Williams Lake community since then. After living in the lake city for six months he met his wife, Leeah. They are excited to call the Cariboo home and raise their son Griffin here.

Chris graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy (WCCMT) in 2009. While attending WCCMT, he worked with an extensive range of patients in his outreach training. His experience includes working with the Vancouver Dragon Boat Festival, UBC Whitecaps Soccer Team, and the Women’s Olympic Softball Team. He has had the honour of treating top medalists and professional triathletes at the Oliver/Osoyoos Half Ironman and Penticton Ironman events. He enjoys helping athletes achieve their peak performance both pre and post-event.

Chris started his career as a Certified Spa Practitioner and worked within spas in Whistler, Kelowna, Penticton, White Rock, and Surrey. He’s trained in shiatsu, reflexology, hot stone massage, Thai-yoga, Ayurveda, and aromatherapy. Having experienced the spa industry, he decided to advance his career by working with physiotherapists, chiropractors, and doctors. He completed a locum at a multi-disciplinary clinic in Surrey working with patients suffering from recent or chronic motor vehicle accident injuries, including whiplash, severe muscle spasms, and chronic pain. This experience led Chris to his passion for helping people with various conditions using his selective style of deep tissue/sports massage therapy. In 2014, he completed a fascial manipulation course to further his ability to treat chronic pain conditions with longer-lasting results.

It gives Chris great pleasure to help people feel their best. He looks forward to continued work and growth within the wonderful community of Williams Lake.
