The Valemount Arts and Cultural Society sponsors numerous arts-related events throughout the year in the community. Live theatre performances and live music concerts provide entertainment for a wide range of ages.
The Valemount Arts and Cultural Society also produce a number of arts workshops focusing on various disciplines and genres for children to adults.

The Valemount Arts and Cultural Society is a non-profit society and registered charity whose collective goal is to promote and support the arts and artists in the Valemount area. The Valemount Arts and Cultural Society is completely volunteer driven and run. Most of the society's events and fundraisers are also staffed by volunteers.
The Valemount Arts and Cultural Society encourage students to pursue the arts by providing an annual bursary for high school students who plan to study the arts in some form. Many plays and concerts take place in the theatre at the high school which has become a treasured community asset.
Valemount Arts and Cultural Society is widely supported in the community both by individual donors as well as business sponsors.
