Meet Jessica Way & Ryan Halliday

Ryan Halliday and Jessica Way originally came from Fox Creek, Alberta where they operated an oilfield safety company. With the oil industry waning, the two felt it was time to make a change in more ways than one. The husband and wife team made the big move to Valemount after visiting the area for years, both enjoying the epic snowmobiling and mountain biking scenes. They also fell head-over-heals with Valemount's unparalleled beauty and quaint, community-minded lifestyle.

Having a deep desire to establish their own entrepreneurial vision, this dynamic duo took a leap of faith by transforming their dreams into a reality. In January of 2019, their newfound pizzeria was born out of a love for exceptional food and people, a combination that Ryan and Jess knew they would remain passionate about for many years to come. The two were so dedicated to mastering their culinary endeavour that they travelled to Italy to train under authentic pizza maestros, an accomplishment that would grant them a Neopolitan designation that very few restaurants in Canada possess.

Aside from kneading and tossing dough, Ryan and Jessica are fond of spending time with their loved ones, especially enjoying endless cuddles with their many furbabies. They're big advocates of small town living and the many benefits that go with it. For the outgoing couple, settling in the community was an easy process, and one that they acheived by attending local establishments and acquainting themselves with the locals. “We love knowing so many people and being involved in community events,” says Jessica.
