Meet Randy & Roxanne Gulick
Originally hailing from Grande Prairie, Randy and Roxanne moved to Tumbler Ridge as partners in a heavy equipment rental company. In 2014, they had an opportunity to sell their shares in the rental business. Randy had always had a love for riverboats and this new opportunity allowed him to turn his passion into a business - Wild River Adventures Tours.
This was an opportunity for Randy to be his own boss while doing things that he loves to do - sharing his passion for the outdoors with other people. “Randy loves being on the water and not just the water, Randy just loves to be outdoors. It seems he has found his niche because he’s really enjoying it.” says Roxanne.
Roxanne appreciates the independence of working for herself and enjoys helping people have their best outdoor experience possible.
The Gulicks have always preferred small town living and find a sense of comfort knowing that their three daughters will always be able to find a familiar face around their community. “If ever they were in any sort of trouble, they would recognize someone that would be able to offer help.” says Roxanne. “I know that the town is looking out for them.”
Wild River Adventure Tours is a family-run business and two of their three daughters are involved. Even during their downtime, this family of five enjoys spending their time outdoors at their cabin, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, camping and touring on their ATV’s.
