As big advocates of supporting their small town economy paired with a booming outdoor tourism sector, Keisha and Chris Homister saw a need within their community for small engine repair, fueling their drive to create a business providing locals and visitors alike with access to such a service. Both Homisters possess extensive experience in the field, together rounding out operations and technical expertise, making the perfect entrepreneurial team.
The whole business start-up process has been an absolute dream, with residents backing Keisha and Chris wholeheartedly. “We love how supportive and positive everyone is,” beams Keisha. As parents to two young boys, life is busy and sometimes hectic- though the Homisters wouldn't have it any other way. Entrepreneurship has allowed more flexibility to be there for their boys, and a little extra time to get their motorized toys up to the glorious mountains surrounding Tumbler Ridge at every turn.
