Art for Happiness is an art studio manufacture offering products and services under the motto “You Are Special”. The owner Mila Lansdowne is a professional artist who built her life around creativity. She is a creative entrepreneur with her own, well-established brand, Art for Happiness. Mila creates her original work and designs art products for gift shops and her online store. Her enterprise operates in three different industries.
But it doesn’t stop there. The full-circle service includes not only products but also materials, creative workshops and business development training.
The latest accomplishments are the publishing of Mila’s book “All About Silk Scarves Business,” the new online training platform for aspiring silk art entrepreneurs www.silkpaintingbusiness.com plus an online store in combination with a seasonal pop-up store.
The core of products of Art For Happiness are Mila’s silk painting originals and scarves. Art For Happiness also sells reproductions of Mila’s works in a wide variety of products like postcards, greeting cards, prints, bookmarks, mousepads, and more.
Her workshops in silk art and creative entrepreneurship emphasize the freedom of expression and individual creativity by teaching the workshop participants the skills necessary to do so. Although there is a variety of workshop Mila offers through Art For Happiness, the common denominator is to empower by providing knowledge and teaching new skills in joyful exploration.

After an unexpected reunion with her Czech artist-friend in 1999 in Germany, Mila began her career as a silk painter, designer, and creative entrepreneur. She had her first shows in Germany and continued in Canada after immigrating in 2002. She specializes in large silk paintings filled with the vibrancy of life and good vibes. Mila Lansdowne Designs are created to empower and inspire and stand for uniqueness, sophisticated elegance, feminine silhouettes, and colors that make people’s heads turn. Her work is all about good-vibe design "because GOOD VIBE = GOOD LIFE".
As an artist and educator, Mila is dedicated to giving her talents and skills to help others to develop and enjoy their full creative potential. Mila deeply enjoys "opening the door to creativity" for people of any age, from Elementary Schools to Senior Groups and anyone in-between.
The originals and other art products are for sale in regional art galleries and selected retail outlets across Canada.
