Walk back in time with a visit to Heritage Park Museum in Terrace BC. This historical site features a number of interesting, early 1900s buildings for you to explore at your leisure. The park includes eight authentic log structures, a wagon garage, a miniature replica school house, a blacksmith shop and an organic heritage garden. Combined, these structures offer a rare glimpse into the social, industrial and economic life of Terrace in the early years of the last century.

Self-guided tours are offered June 2 until August 31, Tuesday – Saturday  11:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and you can arrange a visit at the park by appointment From September-May.

If you can’t make it to the park itself, or you’re looking for more information on the park, its facilities, or the fascinating history of Terrace, check out their website.

The Terrace and District Museum Society is an incorporated nonprofit organization that oversees the operations of Heritage Park. The society is managed by a seven-member volunteer Board of Directors. Heritage Park Museum is located on the unceded traditional Ts’msyen (Tsimshian) territory of the Kitsumkalum and Kitselas First Nations.
The Society is grateful for the opportunity to tell a small part of this incredible town's history and are always looking for volunteers to join them.
