You've probably seen Carl Goodall's work around town, even if you didn't realize it. You can't go very far in Terrace without seeing a sign of some type that was made by him. Carl is the second generation of Goodalls to work the business. It was Carl's father, Colin Goodall, who first started the business in 1973, known as Northern Signs back then. The business has grown since then, adopting a name change and integrating new technologies that have become available. Today the business offers a wide variety of sign and advertising products, and Carl is proud of the quality of the services that are available to his Terrace customers.

Carl has lived in Terrace his whole life and was raised on small town values. He wanted to pass those same values on to his own children, whom he has raised here. "My children know all of their neighbours," says Carl. This kind of familiarization lends itself to a feeling of safety and security that isn't available in a big city and Carl appreciates being able to provide this.

The great outdoors is another part of what makes Terrace living so exceptional. Carl is particularly fond of the four distinctive seasons that Terrace experiences and all of the natural beauty they bring. Outdoors lovers have a myriad of recreational activities right at their fingertips, like world-class fishing as well as Carl's favourite, camping (with the family, of course).
