Meet Ginny Kenmuir
Ginny Kenmuir was looking for a new professional direction and opportunity when she decided to buy All Star Shoes. It's a store that has been part of the Terrace community for more than 30 years. The idea of stepping into a well-established business and providing products that the community has come to trust and rely on was appealing to Ginny. She took over the store in 2015 and is looking forward to at least another thirty years of successful business in Terrace.
Both Ginny and her husband Shawn are entrepreneurs at heart. They appreciate the opportunities that come with business ownership, like the ability to be creative and to set their own pace and direction for the business. It also allows them to offer the kind of service that they know the people of Terrace expect and appreciate. Most of all, says Ginny, "I get to go to work every day and do something that I love."
Ginny and Shawn are passionate about their community and appreciative of everything Terrace living provides. Its natural beauty continually amazes them, like Terrace Mountain, a gem that is so close to town that it can be enjoyed any time either from the bottom looking up or from the spectacular view up top. It also has wonderful residents who are friendly and caring. It is a family-oriented community with lots to do and offer, like sports, which their children are heavily involved in. Of course, Terrace's small businesses can't be beaten, like Ginny's personal favourite, Cafe Zesta ("best Americano in town!" she declares).
