Meet Phil Davies
Phil Davies is a big advocate of small town living. The River House owner has felt welcomed into the community right from the get go. “Everyone always has a smile or says ‘Hi’, even when they don’t know you,” states Phil. Telkwa has a great sense of community, often hosting many wonderful events and programs that keep residents connected and engaged.
As an entrepreneur in a close-knit community, Phil truly appreciates the honesty and integrity that his fellow residents exude. Other small business owners reach out to one another, providing a network of kinship and support. According to Phil, he feels as though small business will succeed in Telkwa, largely thanks to the shop local sentiment so present among residents.
It’s a rewarding feeling being a part of something greater than yourself, and for Phil, he wants to share what he’s accomplished with as many people as possible. He is proud of the home he has built, and not to mention that utterly amazing view! Phil puts a huge priority on outdoor recreation, spending much of his free time fishing and lounging around a campfire. He’ll happily show you a thing or two if you ask!
