Meet Darryl & Trish Hunter
Darryl and his wife, Trish Hunter, put people first. Never monopolizing on their industry, the owners at Hunterbilt make room for other competitors to share the client base. For those who would enjoy a quieter lifestyle, this is the place to be, says Darryl. He is happy operating a small size business, enough to support his family and a few of his employees. He doesn’t need anymore than that. A modest life is more than enough.
Darryl started his career as a plumber apprentice back in 1997, eventually working his way up the ladder. At a crossroad, Darryl felt he didn’t want to be a part of a large scale operation anymore. His entrepreneurial spirit was driving him to start something of his own. In 2009 he incorporated Hunterbilt Industries Ltd and hasn’t looked back.
In his spare time, Darryl and his wife enjoy getting back to basics. They love tending to their hobby farm, stocked with various animals and acres upon acres of pastures. It’s not always easy, but Darryl finds moments to escape the hustle and delve into wilderness. He loves to fish and hike; Telkwa is an absolute gem for nature lovers. Leaving the land better than they found it is an absolute passion for the Hunters.
