Meet Thomas Vanderleest
Shortly after moving to the Smithers area, Thomas Vanderleest came across an opportunity he couldn't pass up. His chance at entrepreneurship had presented itself, and with a background working for landscaping companies along with a gap in the market, everything made perfect sense. In the fall of 2017 Thomas brought to fruition his very own business, Triple Ventures, and couldn't be more thrilled to be doing what he loves for a living. “I would like to thank those who have helped me along the way of being an entrepreneur and those that continue to support me, especially my wife and family,” shares the landscape professional.
Thomas is well aware of the importance that small business brings to a community. It creates a supportive environment for all residents and fellow entrepreneurs as well. The Triple Ventures owner particularly enjoys the small-town feel of Telkwa and the Smithers area, making it a wonderful place to raise a family. His spare time is often spent exploring the back-country through camping, hunting and fishing with his wife and kids.
