Entrepreneurship has provided Total Floors owner, Doug Ede, with a lifestyle conducive of making family a priority. As a proud father of five, he's truly enjoyed the freedom to attend his children's many extra-curricular activities, tournaments and competitions, never wanting to miss these special moments. It has also allowed him the chance to make an impact on his community by contributing to numerous schools, churches and non-profit societies by supporting their great causes. “Working with local businesses and non-profit groups to support, donate and advocate for different community needs,-” shares Doug. “It's an honour to be a part of that!”
Doug has been in the flooring industry since 2005 and has owned Total Floors since 2011 and has felt immense support from Smithers and the surrounding Bulkley Valley areas. Residents are especially close-knit, warm and welcoming, creating a friendly atmosphere in the community. Smithers is the perfect place to raise a family, and with a ton of recreational opportunities, there's no shortage of entertainment.
