Meet Jackie Lindsay
Meet Jackie Lindsay
Jackie Lindsay is a mom, wife, blogger, entrepreneur and creative genius. Her home business all began when she discovered she was pregnant. She wanted a hobby to keep her busy in anticipation of her maternity leave, and with an upbringing that included sewing, she had her answer. Sewing adorable creations became that outlet, and Jackie’s young daughter, her model extraordinaire.
As Jackie’s baby grew and grew, customers began lining up to sport their babies in the same, trendy apparel. It wasn’t long before the local requests expanded into a worldwide Etsy storefront, now with sales being shipped out to over eight countries. “My daughter is my biggest inspiration for what I make. She helps me test products and models,” exclaims Jackie.
Jackie began her business while living in Saskatchewan, now transferring her talents to beautiful Smithers. For the wife and mother moving back to BC meant being closer to her family. In addition to that, the abundance of gorgeous, mountainous scenery in the region was a great benefit to moving home to BC. One of Jackie’s favourite places is the Nadina Lake Lodge in Burns Lake.
