The company is organized as a group of multi-disciplinary Construction Managers and Engineers whose aim is to live and invest locally and work toward developing the north with order, sustainability and cost-effectiveness in mind.

Like many residents of Smithers, Tylor Versteeg is a big advocate of supporting local entrepreneurs. As the owner and visionary behind North Valley Design & Consulting, he knows the importance of providing a stream of revenue that stays within the community. Tylor employs locals in the area and sources suppliers regionally whenever possible. “Small businesses are the backbone of communities in Northern BC,” says the entrepreneur. “I enjoy working closely with local business owners, residents and organizations that are collaborating on projects in the North.”
If and when Tylor decides to take a break from his entrepreneurial passion, he is often busy involving himself with local politics, or soaking in the beautiful natural surroundings. Some of his favourite pastimes include running, camping and paddle boarding. Unlike anywhere else in the world, Smithers has proven to be the perfect location for a life of endless adventures and prosperity.
