Meet Dennis Strain
Smithers, says Enclave Managed Networks owner Dennis Strain, is the embodiment of everything that he values most about life and career. Being able to live and work in the same town was important to Dennis after many years of camp life, and he says Smithers is his ideal home. He loves the gorgeous scenery and the fact that it is centrally located within northern BC for both his business and for the many recreational opportunities in the area.
Dennis knows that computers are a mystery to many people. He gets a deep sense of fulfillment out of being able to help people solve seemingly intractable computer problems. Being able to support other local business owners with their information technology (IT) is something that is gratifying to Dennis, knowing that most small businesses cannot afford dedicated IT staff. Dennis is happy to step in and fill that gap for other businesses and help make technology make more sense.
Dennis loves to get outside when he’s not busy working, to enjoy all the recreational opportunities in the Bulkley Valley. He especially enjoys camping, fishing and gardening. He also enjoys spending time visiting his favorite Smithers businesses and cultural locations, like the Smithers Museum and the Farmer’s Market.
