Visitors can relax in the sunken garden or on the spacious covered decks. Gracie’s Place Hotel is just minutes and easy walking distance from downtown Daajing Giids and its shops, amenities and cultural destinations. Guests have the option of renting a camper van at the convenient, on-site RV rental. Other island sights and destinations are within an easy drive from the hotel.

Meet Gracie Flanagan
Gracie Flanagan has been entertaining guests from around the world since she first opened her hotel in 1980. Even after three decades she still has a passion for hosting and making visitors feel comfortable and welcome.
Gracie lives on-site and never tires of her amazing view of the harbour and the sights and sounds of the nature that surrounds her. She feels proud that her business has been around for so long and that it has provided her with the opportunity to live in such an incredible location. Gracie also loves the community of Daajing Giids, not just for its beautiful setting but for its wonderful citizens who are cordial and who genuinely care for one another. Daajing Giids has "a strong sense of community," says Gracie.
During her off-time, Gracie likes to sit down and read a good book or pick up her crochet hook and work on a project. She gardens during the spring and summer, and her gardening talent is evident all around the property, much to the delight of her guests.
