Meet Doug & Deb Davis

Meet Doug & Deb Davis

Doug and Deb Davis are lifelong northerners and long-time residents of Prince Rupert. Both grew up and graduated in Kitimat and moved to Prince Rupert as young adults where they eventually raised their family. Today they are proudly joined in their business by their two sons, Jared and Trent.

Doug is a 500 Ton Home Trade Master and has been piloting vessels of various types and sizes for more than two decades. It was his passion for the water that drove him to a career driving boats, and it was his entrepreneurial spirit and desire to invest in his and his family's future that led him to build his marine transport business from scratch starting in 1988. The company has grown considerably in those years from just a few water taxi vessels to a fleet of seven boats today, including its giant Catamaran that takes some 5,000 tourists out on the water each season.

Doug and Deb love the community of Prince Rupert and they consider it a privilege to be able to showcase it to visitors who come here each year. Not only do they get to be involved in tourism, but the marine transport services that they provide all year round has given them the opportunity to work with many other local businesses. They deeply appreciate the sense of camaraderie between local business owners and between the people who live here. They have seen the community grow and change over the last 25 years and they look forward to what the next few decades bring.
