Meet AmberDawn MacDonald
Inspired by her lifelong passion for art, AmberDawn MacDonald created a future for herself doing what she loves. Her interest in tattoos began to form while she was attending the College of New Caledonia in Prince George working towards a Fine Arts Diploma, first covering her leg in a traditional Japanese dragon. AmberDawn now has numerous tattoos all over her body, and has steadily been mastering the art of tattooing others since 2012 during her apprenticeship. The opportunity presented itself to open a new studio, and in January of 2020 AmberDawn recruited a collective of like-minded body art creatives to showcase their talents. “Art has always been part of my life, and I love creating,” says the tattoo artist. “I love being able to create freely and being able to provide a space for others to as well.” AmberDawn loves talking shop- stop on by the studio and strike up a conversation about all things tattoos!
