"Libraries are one of the last free, welcoming public places where access to information and opportunity are equally available to everyone," says Anna Babluck, Mackenzie Public Library Director.

Whether you are living in Mackenzie or are just visiting, you have the ability to use a wide variety of their services free of charge.“I think a lot of people would be surprised to realize how much we now offer here,” explains Anna. “Both in the library and online.”

“We’ve been growing a lot over the last few years,” says Anna. “We’ve been branching out on what we are able to do. We’ve put a lot of work into listening to what the community needs and have been working towards more youth programs, more adult learning programs and more ways to connect people in Mackenzie. We're adding to our collections: things like movies, board games and technology kits for kids to take home and learn about robots in a hands-on way."
