Meet Don & Jill

"Anyone can have a sign shop but we want a sign shop that has both excellent customer service as well as high quality products," says Dalp Signs co-owner Don Malanka. Being a family-owned and operated business, Don knows that the quality of his work is a reflection on his family, so he continually strives for excellence and precision in every product his company manufactures.

Don was already an entrepreneur when the opportunity arose to purchase the established Dalp Signs. Don felt it was a good, complementary fit to his other local business interests, so he bought it. Soon afterward his daughter Jill, a talented graphic designer, moved to Logan Lake to join Don in running the business.

Don and Jill have made a deliberate choice to invest in Logan Lake. As an outdoor recreation-lover, Don enjoys being close to so many lakes and so much back country where he can ski, fish, ice fish and ride his ATV. Both Don and Jill appreciate that the town and its leadership support local businesses and their owners and provide them with so much encouragement and promotion. As a result, they are able to give back to the community and support numerous local charities, including the Logan Lake Boy Scouts, Logan Lake Outdoor Clubs, the Logan Lake Literacy Program, the Logan Lake ATV Club and Logan Lake WHY.
