Tea Creek Enterprises

Agriculture & Food Production-Education-Consultants

The phrase ‘training farm’ might seem like a new concept, but what Tea Creek Enterprises training farm actually does is promote practices that are firmly rooted in the past with an eye to the future.

Tea Creek’s mission is to revitalize the culture and methods of traditional farming that was once a central part of Indigenous life in the area. Acting as a catalyst of learning, Tea Creek is committed to providing land-based training with employment opportunities. On the farm they train in trades and high intensity organic growing methods with the goal of increasing community resilience.

Since opening in 2019, Tea Creek Enterprises has moved from a pilot program, to a formal employment program and have expanded their demonstration farm to grow an abundance of fresh food, some of which is available for purchase!

With a commitment to meeting their trainees where they are, as opposed to where society feels they should be, Tea Creek fosters a learning environment for anyone who seeks them out!

Owners Jacob and Jessica see Tea Creek Enterprise as a family affair, one which allows them to bring up their boys Noah and Ezra with an appreciation and knowledge of the land they live on.

Farming is a full time endeavor, so when they aren’t training newcomers, they’ve got their hands dug deeply into the soil, appreciating the bounty they are able to bring to the community.
