Meet Heather Masch
Meet Heather Masch
Heather Masch's parents started Pyramid Office Supplies back in 1987. Heather took over in 1999, buying the business from them. She is proud to carry on the tradition of excellence in products and customer service that her parents worked so hard to establish. It actually started out as a small, home-based business that continued to grow over the years. Heather fondly recalls working closely with her Mom in those early years to get the business going and thriving.
Taking over was a natural transition for Heather who knew the business well and grew up in the community. "This is a challenging field to be in but even with all the ups and downs over the past 28 years, I still enjoy what I do," says Heather. Knowing so many locals adds meaning to the work that she does because she knows that she is serving her friends and neighbours and buying from people that she trusts.
Besides the familiarity that comes with knowing people, there are many other advantages of small town living. "Not sitting in traffic" is one Heather's favourites! "You can get anywhere in ten minutes," she adds. Small town residents also have a sense of community spirit and pride that sets them apart from city residents, stemming at least partly from having so many personal relationships in the community. As for business, small town, independent business owners are always willing to go out of their way to serve their customers' needs by special-ordering products and adding other personal touches to their services.
