Chelsea Bossence left Kitimat to pursue hair styling training after starting her first apprenticeship in hairstyling at 16. She spent two years living in Toronto where she studied at the Fiorio Beauty Academy. During her years in Toronto, she was able to gain experience in her profession outside of the academy by participating in hair shows, competitions, photo shoots and a variety of other activities.
Chelsea enjoyed her studies and her years in Toronto, but Kitimat was never far from her soul. It eventually called her back and today she is delighted to be back in her home town. After returning, she started Black Velvet and 7 years later now operates a full service hair salon at 54 Greyling, perfectly suited for all your beauty needs.
Chelsea is deeply appreciative of her clients who have been so supportive of her business over the years. Chelsea has a passion for hairstyling and loves to help her clients express their creativity through their hairstyles.
