Meet Sue Stark
Sue Stark has lived in Hudson's Hope for more than 40 years, but to her it seems like barely a few weeks. "I have loved it so much it has just seemed to fly by," she says. In fact, her entire life has been intertwined with Hudson's Hope. It is where she grew up, and where she raised her family. She has been operating her shop here since 1998. "My life and all that it is attached to the town... every part of my town can describe a part of my life. I love that." She is grateful to be able to play a small role in the business community and culture of the town that she loves.
Being an entrepreneur has allowed Sue to be able to express her imagination and creativity in ways she never dreamed of before. For her, coming to her shop every day is not a "job" at all. "I love being the CEO and creative director in my life's work," she aptly states.
