If you’ve visited the Houston/Burns Lake Farmer’s Market in the past 25 years, chances are you’ve shopped at Nittas Nook! An eclectic booth specializing in home comforts that are handcrafted! Nittas Nook is filled with homemade crafts, think crochet items, soaps and comforters, as well as her own farm fresh eggs, and baking. Of course, a stop at Nittas Nook wouldn’t be complete without picking up some delicious homemade jam, relish or pickles!
If you can’t make it to the Farmer’s Market or it’s the wrong season, Nitta is happy to arrange for you to pick up items out of her home!

Owner Nitta Harder has been learning handcrafts and cooking from her mom, who supported her family after her husband passed away. Nitta has kept up this tradition and has been a staple at local markets for years.
Nitta loves going to the markets to interact with customers and visitors alike. She enjoys the market community and small businesses that make up her community and help to keep it vibrant and lively.
