Meet The Granisle Public Library Board & Staff

The Granisle Public Library is governed by a board of volunteers made up of community members who are passionate about literacy and learning. The board helps to set the vision for the library and to procure resources for free use by the community at large.

Board chair Gloria Maughan is proud of the library, which she notes is a great facility for the size of the town. In fact, it's so well-stocked and regularly used that the community is in danger of outgrowing the facility soon. Gloria and the rest of the board members are proud to be able to offer essential services for free use to the community, such as computers and Internet access.

From Gloria's perspective, Granisle is simply a wonderful place to live, work and play. With its spectacular lake, its plethora of outdoor recreational opportunities, its affordable living and most of all the amazing people, Granisle offers a high-quality lifestyle that the library is proud to be a part of.
