For those of you who are self-proclaimed DIY’ers, The Rusty Pitchfork hosts informative workshops for many of their fabulous products. There are sessions for adults and kids alike, who will have a blast learning to make many different kinds of soaps, salts, salves and so much more! Life is all too short. Being well aware of that sentiment, Kim Watt-Senner, Gary Senner and their son Garrison Senner have made it their life’s mission to seize every moment. They gave up the corporate, six-figure hustle and bustle for a slower pace of living. Owning their own business has provided the opportunity to put their family, pets and lifestyle ahead of anything else. It has allowed the Senner family the chance to develop their creative abilities, all the while thriving at putting smiles on the faces of their many loyal customers.
The family trio decided to purchase the farm in 2016, turning their hobbies and passions into a full fledged business. They all love the area and have been flocking to the region for its endless outdoor opportunities for years. Camping was always a major draw, and with every season’s turnover came a new way to explore nature. Kim, Gary and Garrison all love to go kayaking, boating, hiking, biking, snowshoeing, horseback riding, and just about every activity under the sun.
The Senners decided to settle in Fraser Lake as it is a community with a big heart. The people are exceptionally welcoming, and for the farmstead owners, living there just made sense. “When we decided to retire, we wanted a place that was beautiful, affordable but that had the basic necessities. Fraser Lake ticked all our boxes,” states Kim.
