Nechako Lodge offers cabin accommodation, basic campsites and boat launching facilities. If you are looking for your own little home away from home, one of our cozy self-contained log cabins is the right choice. They sleep up to 6 people, and all come with fully equipped kitchens, single beds, and a woodstove for heat. The large cabins contain 3-piece bathrooms, while a central shower house serves the small cabins. A nicely treed campground invites campers to enjoy a relaxing time right by the lake shore.
Committed to environmental sustainability, Nechako Lodge prides themselves in reducing their ecological footprint with a state-of-the-art solar power system. Additionally, heat and hot water energy is created by a scrap-wood fueled, outdoor wood furnace.

Meet Elisabeth & Joe Doerig
Together Elisabeth and Joe Doerig along with their sons Martin and Thomas, are the owners and operators of Nechako Lodge. The facility was originally opened in the 1960's as a hunting lodge, changing hands many times over the years to come. The opportunity to purchase the property arose in 1987, and having recently emigrated from Switzerland seven years prior, Elisabeth and Joe knew this was the chance they had been waiting for. Their love for the wilderness of British Columbia paired with a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry made the decision an easy one.
Fast forward a few decades and their business has transformed from a rustic compound to a thriving and popular retreat. The Doerigs have worked tirelessly to create an outdoor enthusiast destination that will impress not only their guests but themselves. “We love being able to provide our guests with opportunities to experience the beauty of our back country from a comfortable base,” shares Elisabeth. “If your business is on the shore of a beautiful lake surrounded by wilderness, work and life become one!”
