April appreciates how everyone seems connected in a small town and you often run into friends when you are out in the community. She loves Fort St. John for the friends - who are as close as family - that she has made in the community.
April enjoys playing soccer, going to yoga and taking her son to the various activities throughout Fort St. John. The Pomeroy Sport Centre is a favourite spot for April and her family, especially on Sundays when free ice time is offered. She volunteers with the Vintage Affair event and assists with fundraisers for the women's resource centre through the ladies soccer team.
