Community Arts Council of Fort St. John
The Community Arts Council of Fort St. John is a charitable society that many businesses support, and, in turn, the Arts Council supports those businesses by enhancing the community through cultural events such as the Annual Artwalk and by improving the vitality of the downtown with street banners.
The Community Arts Council of Fort St. John leads heritage and arts programs for the public and for schools children. The Arts Council provides venues for art lessons, classes, programs and events as well as space for organizational meetings. Individual members of the Arts Council put on successful classes in painting, pottery, spinning, weaving and more. Emerging artists and craftsmen are encouraged to develop their art form and learn business skills to help them promote and sell their works.
