Meet April Floriant
April Floriant was born and raised in Dawson Creek and has lived in the area all her life and has deep connections within the community. April is an avid crafter and scrapbooker, and she noticed that there were not a lot of scrapbooking and paper-crafting supplies available here in the north. April has always been one to take action when there is a need, so she decided to start a business and make all of those things available to other local crafters.
Instead of a "traditional" brick-and-mortar type of store, she chose a rather unique business model: a mobile store. This way, April is able to bring the products right to the people rather than people having to come to her. Not only is she able to serve Dawson Creek, but much smaller, rural areas as well.
April is enjoying her foray into entrepreneurship. It has allowed her to shape her business according to her own vision, and she loves to share her own passion for paper crafting and memory-preservation with others. She gets a special sense of satisfaction from introducing people to the craft who haven't tried it before, and may not have if not for Stampsense.
