Meet Meg Duncan

Meg Duncan's heart has always belonged to the Peace, a place where she feels a sense of connection and fulfillment. As a born and raised resident of Dawson Creek, Meg notes a level of community dedication, especially among fellow entrepreneurs. “I believe small businesses are what makes a community,” shares Meg. “They are the heart and soul!”

As a relatively new guru in the photography industry, Meg's entrepreneurial story began with the compelling urge to follow her dreams. She had spent years working in a 9-5 office setting, never truly tapping into her creative energies. She made the leap into small business, loving the satisfaction of hard work and self-direction that her own endeavour fostered. “My passion for this industry has exploded and I'm finally lucky enough to spend my life doing what I love,” beams the photographer. Meg loves the way that photography allows her to connect with new relationships and new adventures, while simultaneously utilizing her creative vision.

When Meg has a few moments apart from her camera, she spends every moment possible with her soulmate, daughter and two dogs. Some of her favourite things involve wine and chocolate, or time with her family exploring the expansive Peace Region. “We live in such a beautiful place,” states Meg. “We are so lucky!”
