Meet Devyn Griffith
Devyn grew up in Dawson Creek and recently relocated back to her hometown when she had the opportunity to purchase Dawson Creek Health Food Centre. The store was started by the Hartnell family. Devyn, a charted herbalist, with a passion for health and wellness, was happy to take over their 40 year legacy. Initially amazed by how many natural practitioners are in Dawson Creek and how active the alternative health community is, Devyn said she has experienced positive feedback and enjoys the supportive interrelationships in Dawson Creek.
Since returning home Devyn has re-discovered the attractive qualities of small town living. Its small population, real sense of community and proximity to her mom, dad and extended family make Dawson Creek a great place to live. There's a warm reception in Dawson. "You can walk down the street and people look at you and smile and say good morning," said Devyn. She enjoys being active outside with her family and appreciates how safe Dawson Creek is - her two children can ride their bikes along the streets.
Devyn's proud of the staff at Dawson Creek Health Food Centre and at the Dawson Creek Health Food Centre, professional development is encouraged for the entire team. She states, "education is very important in order to offer the best customer service. Two of my staff have just finished their natural health practitioners course."
