Meet Angela Fehr

Award-winning watercolour artist Angela Fehr acknowledges that her art is strongly linked to the beauty of the Peace River landscape. The wilds surrounding Dawson Creek provide endless inspiration for Angela. Angela Fehr Art can be located anywhere in the world but the artist chooses to live and conduct her business out of Dawson Creek.

"Dawson Creek has been my home since birth and I just couldn't imagine living anywhere else," said Angela. As a local artist, Angela feels very supported by her small community. "My friends in this community are my biggest cheerleaders," said Angela, " the community has supported me as I grew up as an artist and as my business has grown and succeeded."

Angela also acknowledges other entrepreneurs in Dawson Creek that contribute to making this community such a great place to call home. "I love the Olde Creek Store and so respect Tanya Machula for building a business with such a widespread positive reputation, great staff and amazing products."

Angela enjoys being able to count on certain things in her hometown, "The friendliness of our people, our landmark art gallery and a lifetime of memories and more to come." Angela's life is happily wrapped around her family and when she isn't creating watercolours or teaching classes she loves spending time with family. Angela also loves the cross country ski trails on Bear Mountain. "Bear Mountain has 20 km of beautiful trails for skiing in the winter or hiking in the summer that are always beautifully maintained by the Bear Mountain Nordic Ski Association."
