Jodi moved to 100 Mile House in 2012 and really enjoys it. "Living in a small town provides a sense of not being alone," she said, "it provides a community structure where you not only know your neighbour but your cashier, your banker and the person you pass by on the street." Jodi likes that 100 Mile House is a strong small community to raise her children in and appreciates the rustic and artistic setting. She enjoys spending time with her family "living the country life."
Jodi owns Rustic Elements with her in-laws, Jim and Rolanda Wenting. She feels that 100 Mile House is great for welcoming newcomers and new businesses. "Business owners in a small town get the opportunity to intimately know their customer base," Jodi said. She likes being able to listen to her clients and find ways to meet their unique needs. "I like to hear my customers' stories and help them celebrate all aspects of their lives," she said. Jodi is proud of her strong customer service and high-quality products as well as the level of artistry in her designs.
Jodi feels that 100 Mile House is a secure and stable small town that will always have a need for what her business has to offer. "As long as I continue to meet the needs of the community, and maintain my high standards of quality and artistry, I see nothing but solid growth for my business," said Jodi.
