Kathy Provost decided to turn her interest in herbals and natural medicine into a business and launched Herbalistkathy in 2012. Kathy has developed several natural, herbal and medicinal products for the body. The Herbalistkathy line includes Shea Butter and Hemp Seed Oil Body Butter (for cracked, dry skin), Effective Eczema Cream, Magic Medicinal Muscle Salve, Natural Pro-biotic Deodorant and more. Owner and product creator, Kathy Provost, is passionate about alternative health and natural medicine and strives to use the highest quality herbal ingredients in all of her products.

Meet Kathy Provost
Kathy Provost had a lifelong interest in natural healing so she decided to study herbal medicine. Her goal was to be able to create her own signature herbal remedies for her own use as well as to share her knowledge and her products with others. She launched Herbalistkathy just two years ago and can often be found selling her salves, body butters, moisturizers and other products at the local Farmer's Market.
Kathy deeply appreciates the small town feeling that makes up the community of 100 Mile House. In 100 Mile House, she points out, people say hello to you on the street and hold doors open for you. She enjoys being able to go into local shops and have the owners and employees call her by name. She also notes that people are quick to lend a hand when there is a need or a crisis.
Kathy is a very active member in the local community. She serves as the director for the South Cariboo Sustainability Society as well as the coordinator for the Rebel Garden Zone campaign. Both roles fit her lifestyle and her passion for growing and eating local and creating self-sustaining communities.
