CrossRoads Brewing

Food & Beverage-Night Life-Restaurants

CrossRoads Brewing answers so many needs in Prince George. Located in the newly revitalized downtown core, this is the place you want to be. With live-edge wood tables, industrial accents, Edison style lighting, funky old world brickwork, and the original shop garage doors, CrossRoads has that modern flair with a cool vibe.

Community tables encourage a little fun between groups; a chance to meet all that is awesome about Prince George. Known for their friendliness, PG’ers make a good time happen. CrossRoads Brewing is all about interactions and beer satisfaction.

Their brewery, led by a talented brewmaster, takes beer loving to another level. Brewed right in-house, CrossRoad’s beer is a force to be reckoned with. Patrons can even view beer production right from their seats with the open concept policy.

Enjoy eight magnificently different palettes, ranging from traditional German-inspired lagers and pale ales to flavourful IPAs and stouts. Savour the suds on site or take them with you from the retail section, offering Growlers and Meowlers. Kegs will be available in the near future to cater any sized events.

Beer tends to make people hungry. The team at CrossRoads Brewing is well aware and has your stomach in mind. Backed by a creative executive chef, the culinary team masterfully creates local cuisine to complement the mouth-watering beer.

Many dishes are cooked in an Italian wood-fired oven and feature casual selections to suit any taste. No details were lost along the way, even the bread, crackers and pretzels are baked in-house. CrossRoads craft beer is often fused into various menu items, making CrossRoads Brewing a truly beer-filled dining experience.

Meet Daryl Leiski

Meet Daryl Leiski

Bjorn Butow and Daryl Leiski have been craft beer advocates for decades. The two met and immediately bonded back in 2015, sharing their love of beer and their cherished community of Prince George.

Daryl had his sights set on opening a brewery of his own and Bjorn had just organized the community’s first craft beer festival. Putting two great minds together, the born and bred PG’ers believed Prince George was ready for a top tier brewery.

With that, CrossRoads Brewing was born. Prince George just so happens to be situated at a crossroad, connecting much of British Columbia to the rest of the province. The connections and crossroads are the inspirations behind Daryl and Bjorn’s brewhouse concept.

Bjorn feels it is essential “to bring people back to the downtown as a unique gathering place for family, friends and tourists, in the heart of the city.”

They are proud that their business is contributing towards the revitalization of the downtown core. “Downtown Prince George is back and it's alive with new retail shops, restaurants and hotels. It's a place where you can have a night out again, and walk around safely to different places,” says Bjorn.

Some might say CrossRoads was the establishment that got the party started. Nevertheless, Bjorn was thrilled to share the glory with fellow entrepreneurs, giving a shout out to Nancy O’s, Betulla Burning, Copper Pig, Black Clover and Twisted Cork- all independently owned businesses started by lifelong locals. With every improvement to our community, everyone gains.
