Two Rivers Gallery Shop is where design meets style in northern British Columbia. The gallery features an eclectic selection of works from acclaimed local artists, the best handmade artisans from across Canada and international contemporary designers. Two Rivers Gallery is operated by the Prince George Regional Art Gallery Association (PGRAGA), a non-profit organization made up of volunteers and art lovers. Through Two Rivers Gallery, the PGRAGA strives to encourage lifelong learning through the arts and to provide a venue for artists to share their work with the public. The gallery is home to a permanent collection of artwork and also features regular rotating exhibitions of contemporary Canadian art. As part of its commitment to lifelong learning and art education, Two Rivers Gallery offers a variety of studio classes and workshops for all ages, Sunday Open Studios, school programs, exhibition interpretation as well as an on-site “Makers Lab.” MakerLab 2RG is multi-disciplinary, creative community space with resources available for Open Make Drop-In each Thursday evening, including a wide variety of general purpose tools, silversmithing tools, electronics kit, sewing machine, 3D Doodlers and more. Facility rentals are also available to the public.
Guests and members of the public are invited to stop in at the on-site gift shop, “Shop at the Gallery.” Inside, visitors will find an extensive selection of artwork and hand-crafted items for the home or office or the perfect, unique gift.
Two Rivers Gallery is a member of the Prince George Chamber of Commerce, the BC Museums Association and the Canadian Museums Association. It was the recipient of the BC Museums Association Award of Merit in 2014.
