“It all started with a barbeque” is not the opening line you expect to hear when you talk to someone about how they started roasting their own beans, but for Moonshine Coffee, that’s just what happened. Since the barbeque roasting adventure, Moonshine Coffee has grown and developed into artisan coffee bean roasting, that produces full bodied, delicious brews.
Now the ethically and sustainably sourced beans are roasted in an air roaster and are hand blended into some fantastically named varieties that reflect life in the Cariboo. Say ‘hello’ to ‘Working Man’, ‘Blackwater Brew’ (after the Blackwater River) and ‘Farmer’s Fuel’, just to name a few.
When you pick up Moonshine Beans in a variety of local grocery stores in the Cariboo, know that you are sipping beans that are filled with a passion for the craft.
Moonshine Coffee is committed to bringing the very best they can into your morning routine and are constantly striving to give you an ever more full bodied and delicious cup.
Owner Amelia found life in Quesnel the perfect place to stretch her creativity, after growing up in a bigger center. Life slowed down just enough for Amelia to find a way to speed it up-through her love and passion for coffee.
Amelia really enjoys the connections she has formed in the community with her clients and other small business owners. She credits the Farmer’s Market with helping spread the word of Moonshine Coffee and is excited to be part of so many other businesses in town.
