Meet Dr. Christie Kronyk & Nancy Camarneira

Chiropractor Dr. Christie Kronyk grew up in Williams Lake. After living in various other places for education and work, Christie returned to her Williams Lake roots. She has practiced in the Cariboo since 2005, opening her own clinic in 2013, along with Registered Massage Therapist Nancy Camarneira. Nancy originally hails from Ontario but became tied to this community when she married a Williams Lake resident. Nancy and Christie have worked together in Williams Lake since 2011 They also operate Integrated Elements Wellness Clinic in 100 Mile House along with acupuncturist/TCM practitioner Dawn Miller.

It was a strong desire to work in a collaborative team environment that prompted them to open their two Integrated Elements Wellness Clinics. They work closely together to ensure that each patient receives the types of treatments that will be most beneficial to their health and wellness.

Both Nancy and Christie have lived in larger cities and agree that practicing in a small town is refreshing. "People are friendly," says Christie. Their patients often refer their families and friends to the clinic, so there are many connections within their practice. As lovers of fitness, they agree that Williams Lake has endless opportunities to get out and be active, regardless of one's experience or fitness level. Christie, who went to school for four years in Toronto, notes that Williams Lake residents are fortunate that the outdoors is right out everyone's backdoor to enjoy. "You can't do that in Toronto!"
