Scott loves operating his business, Spirit Stones Ltd. in Terrace. He is able to work successfully with his son Steven and one employee Adam. "We work together so well," said Scott's son Steven. Scott has a great connection with his employees and is willing and able to step back from the day to day operations and allow Steven and Adam to show initiative and run with successful ideas. By being receptive to customer feedback, Spirit Stones has been able to successfully adapt the business and grow their products according to demands.
Steven feels honoured to serve customers and acknowledges the sacredness of creating specialized and lasting personal tributes. He loves his job and customers feel that emotion and respond with positive reviews and returned patronage. "One of the things I love about this job is working with the First Nation traditions," said Steven, "we gratefully accommodate their traditions and their gorgeous designs." Scott is proud of being a hub for the area and the lasting ties with the area matriarchs and patriarchs of the nearby Northwest clans.
Scott and Steven love Terrace. "It's a heaven on earth," said Steven, "we are in the middle of world class everything - skiing, snowboarding, fishing, motor cross and more." He points out Terrace is a natural paradise that has all the gorgeous vistas and is in close proximity to the river, the ocean, the forests and even the historic lava runs.
Terrace is an active community with a huge number of volunteers improving the community. "We have everything here at our doorstep," said Steven, "it is truly a place of opportunity where you can do anything you set your heart on."
