Meet Terrance E. Hudson, LLB

Terrance Hudson is a born-and-bred BC northerner, but he no longer has a hometown in BC. Terrance was raised in Cassiar, a mining town north of Dease Lake, near the BC/Yukon border that disappeared when the company mine the town was built around suddenly closed in 1992. Now Terrance likes to tell people that he is from "nowhere," though he also spent time living in Stewart, BC and in Whitehorse, Yukon.

His years of education and training were spent in other places in western Canada, mainly larger urban centres, where he also practiced law for a few years. But his small town, northern BC roots were pulling him back in the direction of home, so he jokes, "since Cassiar no longer exists, Smithers was an excellent choice!" He and his wife, Elisa, and their children have settled in here, and they're all loving the community which Terrance describes as safe and family-oriented. They try to take full advantage of all of the recreational opportunities that are available in Smithers, like skiing at Hudson Bay Mountain.

Terrance has a passion for the law and is particularly happy to be serving Smithers and the surrounding regions in the area of family and personal injury law. Doing business in a small town, says Terrance, means that you know the people that you work with and for, and it makes helping them with their legal needs much more personal. Terrance feels privileged to be able to help people deal with difficult issues in their lives so that they can move forward with confidence and trust.
