Meet Michaela & Moe Kafer
Sisters often have one of the strongest bonds out there. Michaela and Moe Kafer define everything that sisterhoods represent. The pair have always been close, even when vast oceans and continents divide them.
Decades ago, Moe relocated to London, England, where she flourished as a successful and well-traveled food photographer. Michaela spent the same time raising her family and more recently, running a popular food truck during the summer season in Smithers.
Michaela’s childhood dream of opening a restaurant came into fruition after she purchased a vacant building, previously housing a sporting goods store. After a complete renovation, the space was transformed into an upscale, modern restaurant.
This opportunity lured Moe back from the UK and ultimately reunited her with her sister Michaela. The two teamed up to take on Smithers’ newest and hottest culinary destination, Roadhouse Smithers with a focus on great food in a friendly and cozy atmosphere.
