To make life even easier, patrons have access to an online sign-up format. Class times coincide conveniently with the ferry schedule, and fees are offered at both drop-in and punch card rates. There are even Karma cycle classes, a mixed level spin class by donation with proceeds going to charity.

Meet Brenna Kowalchuk
Like many people, Brenna Kowalchuk was a spin cycling skeptic. She eventual gave into the hype, and after trying her very first spin class, Brenna discovered a newfound, lifelong passion. “I finally pushed myself out of my comfort zone and just went to a class,” said Brenna. “It was hard, I regretted it immediately, and magically at the end I was excited for the next class!”Brenna is thankful for the opportunity she had to shadow a fantastic spin instructor, who taught her everything she needed to know to venture off on her own. When the call came for the Kowalchuks to move back to Haida Gwaii, Brenna knew she had to take matters into her own hands. In 2018 she opened Gale Force Indoor Cycle and hasn't looked back.As a mother to a young child and with another on the way, Brenna is excited to raise her family in beautiful Haida Gwaii, a place that exemplifies close-knit community-mindedness. The Gale Force owner hopes to contribute to the community's success by supporting fellow entrepreneurs. She feels it's essential to purchase locally as much as possible. Brenna's biggest passion is her drive to assist fellow residents in reaching their fitness potential. “I look forward to riding with you and encouraging you on your spin journey,” shared the spin instructor.
