Cheryl's roots are firmly planted in Quesnel. She grew up in the community and her family is here. She loves the small town feel and enjoys the quiet atmosphere. Cheryl also appreciates that there is less traffic and a short commute to both her work and the surrounding wilderness. She likes to go camping and fishing on the weekends as well as getting together with family and friends for a dinner and games night.
Cheryl recently became an entrepreneur and opened Mama C's Gifts 'n' Giggles. Cheryl has worked in retail for many years as a manager of a gift store and knew she had the skills and the passion to operate her very own store. "I have always loved working in retail," Cheryl said, "I love meeting new people and even sometimes becoming good friends." Cheryl lives by the saying, "treat people the way you want to be treated." Cheryl is very proud of her staff and her store's positive reputation for making their customers happy. She has had great service in Quesnel and feels supported by her customer base and other small businesses. Cheryl knows the importance working together with the larger business community to support one another so that Quesnel can retain their businesses and keep shopping locally. She finds Quesnel's small businesses to be personable and very willing to go the extra mile for their customers.
