Long Table Grocery
Long Table Grocery wants to change the way you grow and eat. The online, local grocery store offers a wide array of essential grocery items that prioritizes locally-grown, organic and fair trade products. In partnership with local food businesses, the team at Long Table Grocery are proud to offer bi-weekly grocery deliveries to many locations throughout the Quesnel area. Their vision is to provide customers with an easy and convenient way to make their spending dollars count towards building a more food-secure community.
But this farm-to-table grocery delivery service isn’t just a grocery store, they are also a food resource hub! Their goal is to serve their community by supporting small-scale growers in developing their businesses, offering a year-round potential market and easier consistent access to customers as well as workshops open to everyone.
You can also pop by their storefront to visit the cafe or inquire about catering services!

Meet Amy & Will Quarry
Amy, along with her husband Will and daughter Stella, are the owners of Long Table Grocery. This little business began as a partnership between Amy and her sister Jenny back in 2017. In 2018, Jenny decided to focus her work more on the ranch she owns with her partner, Mike, and other exciting business projects. This was when Will stepped in as Amy's business partner. Will and Amy have made their home in Quesnel together for the last 15 years and both love what their community has to offer. While they have both been self-employed for a few years now, retail is a whole 'nother kind of ride!
It has been a wild 3 years in this business with lots of changes from the original little shop. When they began they were only open 1 day every two weeks, and just offered grocery subscription boxes. Since then have moved, renovated, added a commercial kitchen, added more workshops and events, expanded their hours, started catering, grown their team, and learned lots of things the hard way. They are really grateful for the support the community has shown them - this endeavor has largely been a labour of love so far and a lot of time, energy and funds have been invested into doing everything they can to make sure they are around for the long haul.
None of this would be possible without the farmers, suppliers, staff and customers that show their neverending support. For Amy and Will, those supporters are the reason they exist as a business. They strongly believe in the power of small business to help build strong communities and are so grateful for all of those who have come alongside them in their efforts to build Long Table into a sustainable and thriving business that can continue to give back to friends and neighbours well into the future.
