Christina loves the friendly people in Prince George and how they enjoy helping one another succeed. Prince George has an attractively low cost of living and a compact layout that makes the work commute easy and enjoyable. "We have fantastic amenities for shopping, eating out, sports, entertainment, cultural experiences, schools, trails and outdoor activities and downtown is coming alive," she said. Christina notes there is a distinct spirit to the locals and they value the, "work hard play hard vibe."
In her spare time, Christina loves to paint, camp and garden. Christina likes being an entrepreneur for the autonomy. She likes being able to set hours that work for her family while operating a store that adds to a great downtown experience.
Christina started Ridge Side Art because she is passionate about art and sharing art with the rest of the world. "Showcasing local talent and giving artists the tools to keep making spectacular art is very rewarding," she said. Christina feels joy watching new people learn that they can make great art and that the process is fun and relaxing at the same time. Christina likes doing business in downtown Prince George because it is personal. "I feel I'm not just offering a product or a service," she said, "I'm helping bring the art culture out in PG by showcasing local talent and assisting with the supplies they need to do their work."
